Gorleston Golf Club was founded in 1906 and is internationally famous for being the most Easterly course in the British Isles.

The club is steeped in history and tradition and is widely regarded as one of the best private members clubs in Norfolk with over 34,000 rounds played by members, visitors and societies each year.

The course is situated on the dramatic coastal cliffs of Gorleston and sprawls across an intriguing mix of cliff top links and tranquil parkland.

Our friendly atmosphere clubhouse offers a magnificent panorama over the course and out towards the North sea horizon.

We offer all things delicious from a light lunch to a banquet in our spacious 100-seat restaurant and every year we host more than 120 social events, society outings, special occasions and functions.

The club values our junior section and that’s why we are proud of our prestigious GolfMark accreditation in recognition of our junior and beginner friendly golf facilities.

The club celebrated its Centenary in 2006 and is as popular today as years gone by!

What's happening at Gorleston Golf Club

Ralph Moffitt Bowl winner - George Tunbridge (Burstead) 2014

Gorleston Junior Open

Past winner of the prestigious Ralph Moffitt Bowl Junior Open, three handicap George Tunbridge from Burstead Golf Club in Essex made another visit to Gorleston today attempting to repeat his 2011 victory. Only 15 juniors - all boys this year, made the effort to play and pleasingly five of their number were home players, so Gorleston were well represented this year. Playing conditions were somewhat testing due to the wind which was the remnants of yesterday’s bad weather and consequently, George’s score of 80 was enough to win the Bowl. In second place, just one stroke behind was Lewis Hague from Rookery Park who took the second scratch prize. Winner of the handicap prize was Jake Bailey with a nett 70 which reduced his handicap to 12 thanks to the CSS being raised to 73 for the round while the second handicap prize went to James Cook from Thorpeness with a nett 72.
