David has achieved a certificate in Golf Club Management from Buckinghamshire New University and took over as Secretary / Manager in March 2010. A member of the club since 1973, David plays off a handicap of 3 and has served on the club’s Management Committee since 2007. He is ably assisted in the club’s office by Jane and between them they can answer any of your questions.

Allen Gray

Allen joined our team in March 2011 and will always be on hand in the clubhouse to congratulate, celebrate and commiserate with every member, guest and visitor before and after a round.

Nick joined us in November 1992 and is a valued member of the team, offering 'the complete golfing service' from running the club’s Pro.Shop to custom fitting, all club repairs and bespoke lessons.

Matthew Schader

Matthew Schader - Professional's Assistant

Son of professional golfer, former England youth international player and Gorleston member George Schader, Matthew joined in the Spring of 2009 and ably assists Nick Brown in the Professional's Shop.

Mark Sherwood

Mark Sherwood - Head Greenkeeper

Mark joined us in 1980 on a Youth Training Scheme and has over the years worked his way up the ranks to the club's Head Greenkeeper, now managing a team of greens staff.
